Real Time Alerts

  • Speeding
    • Speeding alerts are a great way to manage and monitor your fleet’s speeding behavior. These alerts are measured by local speed thresholds.
      • How does it work?
        • You set the limits; to your whole fleet or managed by specific groups
        • Don’t want your driver’s going 10 miles over the speed limit? You can get alerted via text and/or email when they do.
        • This allows you to take quick action against fleet speeding while also letting you alleviate future speeding incidents.
        • Don’t want to be bombarded with alerts to your email or phone? We have automated reports that give you a daily, weekly, or monthly summary of the speeding within your fleet.
  • Idling
    • When a vehicle idles for thirty minutes, a half a gallon of gas is burned. This can add up if your vehicles are sitting stationary with the air blasting in the hot summer or have the heat working in the cold winter. Idle alerts can help you lessen wasted fuel.
      • How does it work?
        • Idling alerts allow you to set up your own idling threshold. So, if you want to know when a vehicle has been stationary for 20 minutes, not only can you get an alert, but you can have one sent to your driver as well.
        • This works as a self-policing method so that your driver knows that you know they’ve been idling for a while.
        • Then they know they better shut off the vehicle or get moving without you having to take action.
  • Odd Hour
    • Odd hour alerts are great for any fleet that allows the driver to take the vehicle’s home on weekends. If you don’t allow vans for personal use, odd hour alerts let you know exactly when a vehicle is moving outside of your designated time frame.
      • How does it work?
        • If your vehicle is taking a two-hour trip to the beach on a sunny Saturday afternoon without your prior consent, odd hour alerts let you put a stop before the trip even happens.
        • Getting an instant alert as soon as the vehicle is turned on, as well as alerts if it starts to move, can help you take quick action against unauthorized joy rides.
        • Do you keep your vehicles at the shop? Odd hours alerts can also warn you of potential theft. Not only will you be alerted for the first turn of the ignition, but you will also receive updated addresses as the vehicle moves.
  • Driver Behavior
    • Not only does your GPS unit track locations, but it also monitors the performance behavior of your driver’s.
      • How does it work?
        • Through motion oriented technology, any unit can track harsh braking, rapid acceleration, and hard left & right turns.
        • Every driver performs these actions once in a while (sadly we can’t control for other driver’s!) but if your drivers are constantly performing in poor driving behavior, it can add some wear and tear on your vehicle.
        • These alerts can help you manage driver behavior and reduce overall vehicle rundown.
  • Landmark
    • Landmarks are good for a multitude of things. It can make reports easier to read, by allowing you to change something like “123 Main Street” to “Jim’s House”. And it can help you monitor where your vehicles are going.
      • How does this work?
        • Getting alerts for landmarks can be great for two reasons: knowing they’re at a location they’re supposed to be at and knowing if they’re at a location they’re not supposed be.
        • What this means is you can enter job addresses to be alerted when your driver arrives at the job. This is made easy by the system’s import feature, so you can import your database directly into the system.
        • You can also enter in locations that you DON’T want your driver’s to go to. So if you’re main concern is driver’s stopping at bars or unauthorized locations during the workday, you can be alerted when they approach these types of locations.

Automated Reports

Field Track offers many reports that can help you monitor things from speeding to your company payroll. They can be sent to you via email on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. For office administrators that never need to track the vehicle’s in real-time, this is a great way for them to benefit from the system.

  • Trip detail
    • Trip detail reports are a great way to confirm payroll. This report gives you a great look into the trips your vehicle made, making it easy for you to confirm when your driver stopped and started for the day.
  • Stop detail
    • The stop detail report is a great way to easily see where your vehicle started and stopped at a location and how long they were there. This allows you to confirm billable hours quickly, and avoid possible consumer deception.

Dispatch

  • Being able to send jobs directly from the office to an employee’s phone is a great way to quickly get jobs out. You can either search in an address or select an existing landmark and locate the closest vehicle in your fleet to that destination. This allows you to give the customer a real time estimate of how long it will take your driver to arrive as well as cutting down on the time spent to call up your driver’s and see who’s available.
  • After you select a location, you can quickly dispatch the new job to the driver, giving them the option to pull up the directions right from their phone through Google or Apple navigation systems.

Google Maps

  • Field Track is powered by Google Maps, which gives you the latest in mapping technology. Through Google, you get to view your vehicles on multiple mapping views, including Google Street View. You can even view traffic routes to help you manage routes and arrival times. Google Maps are easy to use and give you the best view of where your driver’s are located.
